“Drive The Devils Out” represents my continuous journey of collecting a vast array of materials, capturing the profound anger and resentment of the Myanmar people towards the military coup, to my own on-the-ground documentation of the remarkable resilience displayed by the people amidst the political upheaval.
My work captures the symbolic acts of defiance, such as the three-finger salute and nationwide street protests, as well as the multitude of creative campaigns and protest messages and slogans that have emerged in response to the military coup and dictatorship. In addition to my photographs, I incorporate found materials like banners and flyers scattered across the streets, which serve as integral elements in the narrative. This artistic exploration and reflection aim to highlight the collective actions of the Myanmar people against a military dictatorship that has endured for seven decades, with the coup on February 1, 2021, serving as a pivotal moment in contemporary Myanmar politics.

“ไดร์ฟ เดอะ เดวิล เอ้าท์” นำเสนอเรื่องราวการเดินทางเพื่อรวบรวมส่วนประกอบมากมายอย่างต่อเนื่องของฉัน การจับภาพความโกรธแค้นและความขุ่นเคืองอย่างสุดซึ้งของชาวเมียนมาร์ที่มีต่อการรัฐประหารของทหารไปไว้ในเอกสารภาคพื้นดินของฉันเองที่ซึ่งเกี่ยวกับความยืดหยุ่นอันน่าทึ่งที่แสดงออกโดยประชาชนท่ามกลางกลียุคทางการเมือง
ผลงานของฉันได้รวบรวมการกระทำในเชิงสัญลักษณ์ของการต่อต้าน เช่น การชูสามนิ้วรวมทั้งการประท้วงบนท้องถนนทั่วประเทศ ตลอดจนการรณรงค์ในแบบสร้างสรรค์มากมาย ข้อความประท้วงและสโลแกนที่อุบัติขึ้นเพื่อตอบโต้การรัฐประหารและเผด็จการของเหล่าทหาร นอกจากภาพถ่ายของฉันแล้ว ฉันยังได้รวบรวมวัสดุที่พบ เช่น ป้ายประกาศและใบปลิวที่กระจัดกระจายไปตามถนนซึ่งล้วนเป็นองค์ประกอบที่สำคัญในการเล่าเรื่อง การสำรวจและการไตร่ตรองเชิงศิลปะนี้ มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อเน้นย้ำถึงการกระทำร่วมกันของชาวเมียนมาร์เพื่อต่อต้านเผด็จการทหารที่ได้กินเวลายาวนานกว่า 7 ทศวรรษ โดยการรัฐประหารในวันที่ 1 กุมภาพันธ์ 2021 นั้นถือเป็นช่วงเวลาสำคัญของการเมืองร่วมสมัยของเมียนมาร์
