The exhibition BODO is inspired by the Taiwanese film of the same name. Released in 1993, the film BODO tells the story of a soldier who becomes a fugitive and engages in gun trafficking and murder. The project portraits the unique social conditions of Taiwan in the 1990s: a booming economy, social turmoil, and political changes after the martial law.

The Blue Wave Women

The Blue Wave Women explores the origins of the myth surrounding the cave, including the prehistoric tribes, the giant serpent, and the sacrificial virgins. It extends further into metaphors of sexuality and the maternal body.

SOAP
2021, Photo
SOAP takes the fake news event German Corpse Factory (Kadaververwertungsanstalt), which originated from the First World War, as its starting point. The German Corpse Factory was a false news that occurred during the First World War.
Taking inspiration from this story, the artist team built a fictional factory within a real factory, and each scene in the video is a surreal combination of the actual factory and the artistic creation. It serves as both a soap production factory and an information production content farm.

นิทรรศกาลบีโอดีโอนี้ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากภาพยนต์ใต้หวันในชื่อเดียวกันที่ถูกปล่อยออกมาในปี 1993 โดยภาพยนต์บีโอดีโอนั้นเล่าเรื่องราวของนายทหารผู้ที่กลายมาเป็นผู้ลี้ภัยและมีส่วนร่วมในการค้าอาวุธปืนรวมทั้งการฆาตกรรม โครงการนี้นำเสนอสภาพสังคมอันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของไต้หวันในช่วงทศวรรษ 1990 ได้แก่ เศรษฐกิจที่เฟื่องฟู สังคมที่วุ่นวาย และการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางการเมืองหลังกฎอัยการศึก

โซพเอาเหตุการณ์ข่าวโรงงานศพเยอรมันปลอม(Kadaververwertungsanstalt) ที่เกิดจากสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 1 เป็นจุดเริ่มต้น และโรงงานศพของเยอรมันเป็นข่าวเท็จที่เกิดขึ้นในช่วงสงครามโลกครั้งที่หนึ่ง
ในการนำเอาแรงบันดาลใจมาจากเรื่องราวนี้ ทีมงานศิลปินได้ทำการสร้างโรงงานสมมติขึ้นมาภายในโรงงานจริง ๆ อีกทั้งแต่ละฉากในวีดิทัศน์นั้นเป็นการผสมผสานที่มีความเหนือจริงระหว่างโรงงานที่แท้จริงกับการสร้างสรรค์งานทางศิลปะ โดยมันได้ทำหน้าที่เป็นทั้งโรงงานผลิตสบู่และฟาร์มแห่งเนื้อหาและการผลิตข้อมูล
